This DIY concrete garden basin starts with nothing more than a sand mound and a real taro leaf used as a natural mold. Wet concrete is poured in two layers over the leaf with wire mesh reinforcement, left to cure, then flipped to reveal a stunning leaf-vein-textured bowl. A drain hole is drilled at center, the surface is painted deep forest green, and the finished piece is set up as a working outdoor garden sink or bird bath. The entire build requires basic materials — sand, concrete mix, wire mesh, and one large taro leaf — and no commercial molds. Watch to the end for the full reveal.
