पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा के पूर्व डिप्टी स्पीकर और पांच बार के TMC विधायक आशीष बनर्जी का रविवार सुबह टीएमसी कार्यालय में शव फंदे से लटका मिला. मौके से एक कथित नोट भी बरामद हुआ है...जिसकी पुलिस पड़ताल कर रही है...वहीं इस बारे में TMC सांसद समीरुल इस्लाम ने आशीष बीरभूम के सबसे ईमानदार और बहुत पढ़े-लिखे व्यक्ति थे। उनसे प्रेरित होकर कई लोग राजनीति में आए,यह न केवल बीरभूम के लिए बल्कि पूरे पश्चिम बंगाल के लिए एक नुकसान है.
The body of Ashish Banerjee, a five-time TMC MLA and former Deputy Speaker of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, was found hanging at the TMC office on Sunday morning. An alleged note was also recovered from the scene, which the police are investigating. Meanwhile, TMC MP Samirul Islam remarked that Ashish was the most honest and highly educated person in Birbhum; many people entered politics inspired by him, and his death is a loss not only for Birbhum but for the entire state of West Bengal.
