Pierson has separately denied the accusations, saying she welcomes the opportunity to provide documentation and financial records supporting her position. Teefey has not publicly responded to the lawsuit as of the latest reports.
For now, the dispute appears headed for a courtroom showdown. Gomez’s decision to challenge the lawsuit immediately signals that her legal team intends to fight the allegations rather than allow them to define her role in Wondermind.
