A tragic stampede broke out at the famous Ashokdham Temple in Lakhisarai, Bihar, resulting in the death of 7 women devotees and leaving several others injured. The panic was triggered by rumors of a fallen electric pole amid heavy crowd congestion following the arrival of two trains at the nearby railway station. District administration officials, including DM Shailendra Kumar and SDPO Shivam Kumar, rushed to the site to oversee rescue operations and manage the crowd.
