Crude oil prices are once again approaching the $90 per barrel mark as there is still no major breakthrough in the Iran-US talks. Brent crude climbed to around $89, while WTI crude traded near $83 per barrel in early Asian trade. The biggest concern for global oil markets is the Strait of Hormuz, where tanker traffic slowed sharply over the weekend following attacks involving vessels operated by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). JPMorgan estimates that every additional month of disruption could add around $7-$8 per barrel to Brent crude prices. If the disruption continues for three months, Brent could average around $114 per barrel.
