ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪಂಗಡಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಬಹುಕೋಟಿ ಹಗರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಚಿವ ಬಿ. ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆಗೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಬೃಹತ್ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ, ಕಲ್ಬುರ್ಗಿ, ಕೋಲಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ರಸ್ತೆಗಿಳಿದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತೀವ್ರ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. "ಕಲಂಕಿತ ಸಚಿವರಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ" ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿರುವ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟದಿಂದ ವಜಾಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಪಟ್ಟು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವರದಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿದೆ.
