This concrete candle holder DIY uses seashells, river pebbles, and a simple double-mold technique to create a coastal-style outdoor lantern. A large round plastic container holds a centered cylindrical insert, creating a ring cavity that is packed with mixed seashells and pebbles before wet concrete is poured in to encase them. Once fully cured, the outer mold is peeled away to reveal an embedded stone exterior. The inner cylinder is removed to open a round candle cavity in the top. A white pillar candle seats perfectly inside. When lit at dusk, warm candlelight radiates through the semi-translucent stones, making the entire holder glow like a lantern. A striking, low-cost project for any balcony, patio, or garden table.
