A gang of fake CBI officers attempted to enter a businessman’s house in Delhi’s Rohini under the pretext of conducting a raid, but the woman’s alertness foiled their plan. On August 8, around 8 to 10 people arrived at the house wearing clothes bearing the CBI logo and carrying fake ID cards. They pressured the family to open the gate, claiming they had come to conduct a search operation. However, the businessman’s wife refused to open the door without seeing a valid search warrant and official identification. The drama continued for nearly an hour and a half, during which the fraudsters sent a fake notice via WhatsApp in the name of the CBI Director.
दिल्ली के रोहिणी में फर्जी CBI अधिकारियों के एक गिरोह ने कारोबारी के घर रेड के नाम पर घुसने की कोशिश की, लेकिन महिला की सूझबूझ से उनकी साजिश नाकाम हो गई। 8 अगस्त को 8 से 10 लोग CBI के लोगो वाले कपड़े और फर्जी आई-कार्ड लेकर घर पहुंचे और सर्च ऑपरेशन के नाम पर गेट खोलने का दबाव बनाया। कारोबारी की पत्नी ने बिना सर्च वारंट और वैध पहचान पत्र के दरवाजा खोलने से इनकार कर दिया। करीब डेढ़ घंटे तक चले ड्रामे के दौरान ठगों ने CBI डायरेक्टर के नाम से फर्जी नोटिस WhatsApp पर भेजा, जिसका परिवार ने स्क्रीनशॉट सुरक्षित कर लिया। पड़ोसियों के जुटने और असली दस्तावेज मांगने पर आरोपी कार में बैठकर फरार हो गए। सूचना पर पुलिस पहुंची और CCTV फुटेज व फर्जी नोटिस के आधार पर जांच शुरू की। पुलिस अब गिरोह की पहचान में जुटी है।
