A casual ride over some rough country roads that were rapidly degrading at the time, and captured just after a prolonged storm season. This route was filled with surprise potholes, some of which were death-inducing in size and depth. In other areas the road had warped so badly, due to the heavy load trucks that had detoured via this route during the wet/flood season, that the standard wheel span of most trucks had created minor canals in each lane, with especially dangerous ruts at the very edges of the road surface... (this is later in the video, through the curves where the slow gray-nomad/caravan is encountered).
And even with all of that aside, and despite the physical discomfort of the rider riding "into the sun" for 2 hours prior to starting this recording... it is a deeply satisfying escape from the general urban nightmare of "people" and "traffic."
