उत्तर प्रदेश में स्कूली बच्चों के लगातार हो रहे विरोध प्रदर्शनों ने प्रशासन की कार्यप्रणाली पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। लखनऊ, उन्नाव, कन्नौज, हमीरपुर और फतेहपुर में छात्रों ने शिक्षकों की कमी, खराब भोजन, जर्जर स्कूल भवन, बंद पंखों, साफ पानी और खराब सड़कों जैसी समस्याओं को लेकर आवाज उठाई। कई जगह बच्चों ने धरना दिया, मार्च निकाला और अधिकारियों से सीधे कार्रवाई की मांग की। इन घटनाओं के बाद मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के निर्देश पर शासन ने जिलाधिकारियों और मंडलायुक्तों को स्कूलों का नियमित निरीक्षण करने, बच्चों की पढ़ाई और भोजन व्यवस्था की जांच करने तथा सोशल मीडिया पर सामने आने वाली शिकायतों की तत्काल पड़ताल करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। 103 सर्वोदय स्कूलों की निगरानी के लिए वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को नोडल अधिकारी बनाया गया है। सवाल है कि क्या प्रशासन अब बच्चों की समस्याओं का समाधान समय रहते करेगा या उन्हें फिर सड़कों पर उतरना पड़ेगा?
In Uttar Pradesh, a series of protests by school students has raised serious questions about the administration’s functioning. Students in Lucknow, Unnao, Kannauj, Hamirpur and Fatehpur have raised concerns over teacher shortages, poor-quality food, dilapidated school buildings, non-functional fans, lack of clean drinking water and damaged roads. In several places, children staged protests, marches and directly demanded action from officials. Following these incidents, the Uttar Pradesh government, on the directions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has instructed district magistrates and divisional commissioners to regularly inspect schools, monitor the quality of education and food arrangements, and promptly investigate complaints emerging on social media.
