Our dead hero is finally out of that dark, confusing place filled with black floors, strange enemies and suspiciously familiar locations.
Back in the forest where everything started, he begins to wonder if he really needed to go through that nightmare in the first place.
For a moment, it seems like his sanity is finally coming back.
Then he sees a giant frog.
Apparently, this is Naruto now.
Convinced that he has somehow become a ninja, our hero finds Tiel's Shell and immediately starts teleporting — or at least that's what it looks like to him. He's incredibly fast, incredibly agile, and...
incredibly fragile.
One hit later, he's dead.
Not exactly the legendary ninja he imagined himself to be.
After that disappointment, he finds a massive sword and starts wondering how a practically skeletal, malnourished-looking undead man can possibly carry something that enormous.
There are some questions in life that simply have no answers.
So he switches to a much tougher Shell, grabs his new equipment and continues through the forest.
Then he finds a mysterious cup.
It's free.
So naturally, he drinks it.
Why would he worry about what is inside?
Suddenly, everything changes.
The world becomes covered in ice, and our dead hero realizes that perhaps drinking random mysterious liquids wasn't the smartest decision.
THE MUSHROOMS ARE BACK.
And just when things couldn't get any stranger, he encounters Tarsus, the First Martyr — a warrior who apparently decided that fighting wasn't enough and that he should also become an ice skater.
He dashes around the arena, disappears, slides across the ice and generally makes life even more miserable for our already confused undead hero.
At this point, maybe the mushrooms never wore off after all.
