A horrific accident took place in South Mumbai's Bhuleshwar during the arrival procession of the 22-foot-tall 'Bhuleshwarcha Raja' Ganesh idol. The massive idol fell onto the crowd after its iron welding support snapped, killing two people including Mandal President Sanket Nevshe, and injuring five others. Mumbai Police and BMC are conducting an investigation into safety negligence allegations.
