Part 3 - 1983 horror anthology Nightmares may contain easteregg references to the FUTURE roles of actor Emilio Estevez. In the second segment "The Bishop Of Battle" (25 minutes long starting at the 20 min. mark), Estevez stars as J.J., an arcade video game ace, Billy Jayne (Parker Lewis Can't Lose) plays his friend Zock & James Tolkan voices the game adversary:

- Estevez played American west outlaw Billy The Kid in the Young Guns (1988) movie series. The Tron arcade cabinet can be seen in the city arcade in the opening, the 1982 movie featured Jeff Bridges in a somewhat similar situation to what is shown here (video games crossover to reality). Dan Shor played Ram in Tron & Billy The Kid in the 1989 adventure comedy Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (which starred Alex Winter & Keanu Reeves).
- Clues to Billy The Kid as idioms may appear in Nightmares. When J.J. makes the Pleiades game bet with the gang members in the opening the money or dollar BILLS are shown.
- To the subject of the GUNS in the title Young Guns, the laser zapper on the Bishop Of Battle Arcade machine breaks off when J.J. beats the 13th level, the machine implodes and the video game enemies escape into the real world and ransack the game room.
