🌍 Why do earthquakes keep making headlines around the world?
Jesus specifically mentioned earthquakes in various places when describing the events surrounding the end times.
In Matthew 24:7–8, Jesus speaks of wars, famines, and earthquakes—and calls them “the beginning of birth pains.”
Mark gives a parallel account in Mark 13:8, mentioning earthquakes and famines alongside conflicts between nations.
But there's an important distinction:
The Bible does not say that every earthquake is a specific prophecy being fulfilled.
