America’s Got Talent is about to look a little different. Simon Cowell will step away from the live shows while undergoing routine back surgery connected to ongoing issues from his serious electric-bike accident in 2020.
The good news is Cowell’s team expects him back within a few weeks. Until then, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, Mel B, and Terry Crews will keep the competition moving while Simon recovers.
America’s Got Talent continues Tuesday on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
