Angel Reese corrected a reporter after he congratulated her on an “NBA record” following a historic performance for the Atlanta Dream. When the reporter tried to brush off the mistake, Reese responded that she sets NBA records too. Reese had just grabbed a WNBA-record 26 rebounds in Atlanta’s 78-71 win over the Los Angeles Sparks, surpassing Chamique Holdsclaw’s previous single-game mark of 24. She also reached 458 rebounds for the season, breaking A’ja Wilson’s single-season WNBA record of 451.
