A devastating flash flood emergency has unfolded in Nepal as the Bhote Koshi River floods the Rasuwa region, leaving 384 tourists reported missing, including 105 Indians. Nepal authorities say 291 foreign nationals and 93 Nepali citizens are currently unaccounted for, while seven people have been confirmed dead.
Rescue and search operations are intensifying as authorities work to trace the missing tourists, who are reportedly linked to nine different travel agencies. The Nepal Tourism Board has stressed that the figures are preliminary and are still being verified with travel agencies, local authorities, guides and security agencies.
With families anxiously awaiting information and dangerous conditions continuing in affected areas, authorities are racing against time to locate those missing and move vulnerable residents to safety.
