The well established Tribute band "Australian Nirvana" were about to call it quits, having been on hiatus for over two years in search of a new singer. Then a chance meeting on Youtube in late 2009 finally gave a result. Contact was made and in a matter of two weeks, Jon O' Connor from Ireland flew to the United Sates to meet drummer, Steve Kilroy & Bassist, Dave Eve to rehearse, record and prepare for a tour of the US. It was obvious after the first rehearsal that it was going to be better than expected, & when they hit the stage, it was if they had been playing together for years not days!
From this one chance encounter on Youtube, a band was reborn. A dream was realized and new friendships formed spanning thousands of miles across three nations.
This is their promo recorded between Nov 2009 & May 2010. This is they're way of giving thanks to a music legend. This is their message to the world that great music never dies.
