In May of 2011, 31 people, mostly from Resurrection Catholic Church in Grand Island, NE, set off on a journey to the Caribbean Island of St. Lucia. St. Lucia is an island nation in the Caribbean Sea and is a popular tourist destination but many of the residents live in severe poverty. While in St. Lucia, the group’s mission was to spread goodwill and hope to the people of St. Lucia. This is their story.
