For Thais living in the midst of the worst flooding in decades, everyday life can be quite a challenge.
Getting around has become nearly impossible... Boats have replaced cars, roads have become streams.
With bus services suspended in flood hit areas of Bangkok, military trucks are shuttling people instead.
Some residents are getting creative with their modes of transport-- this person strapped a surfboard to the roof of his car, just in case.
Local media say 55 roads around the capital city have been blocked, which means it's more difficult to get supplies in and out of flood stricken areas.
Residents who are still stranded rely on others to bring them food.
(SOUNDBITE) (Thai) 56-YEAR-OLD GARAGE OWNER, NIKOM TEO-AU,SAYING:
"I think it takes two weeks. I have this car on standby to deliver food. My family is inside."
Now well into its third month, the full economic impact of the floods has yet to be determined although early estimates say recovery costs will top eight billion.
Thailand's Department of Prevention and Mitigation says the death toll in flood related incidents has reached 529.
