Meiyang Chang is India’s ‘diversity’ pride, as Andre Goh and the Arumugam brothers are Malaysia’s.
Chang, as much as his Malaysian counterparts, refuses to define himself by his own distinct culture, simply by ‘smoking’ whatever his diverse brothers are smoking in the public sphere, thereby, on a subtle level, dismissing class, appearance and religion. Nice!
