Heavy police presence at UK march

Thousands of students and their supporters march through central London.
They are protesting at the government raising university tuition fees, and were joined by hundreds of "Occupy" activists from the St Paul's Cathedral camp who are protesting corporate greed.
From next year student fees will triple, allowing English universities to charge up to 9,000 British pounds - around 14,000 dollars - annually.
There was heavy police presence at the march, with some 4,000 officers monitoring events.
The Metropolitan police force wants to avoid a repeat of last year's student demonstrations which saw attacks on the headquarters of the Conservative Party and violent clashes between protesters and riot police.
They have been given the authority to use rubber bullets if there is serious violence.
