This sweep from butterfly guard is used when your opponent is staying with his weight to far forward to use the Sperry sweep and too far backward to use a traditional butterfly guard sweep. This is a way to attack your opponent's posture and use his momentum to carry him over in a front roll, landing you in either an armbar or in knee-on-chest position.
