In recent years, xenophobic attacks have caused the loss of life and the displacement of thousands of vulnerable peoples in South Africa. The UN has been engaged in this crisis, providing aid as well as consultation to various agencies and the SA State. But people living in make-shift shelters in a refugee camp in the North of Pretoria, complain that they have been abandoned by both the South African government and the UN.
