Taiwan's opposition Nationalist party has declared victory in the island's parliamentary election.
The Kuomintang (KMT) party is set to pick up 81 seats in the 113-seat parliament.
Its win is likely to improve its chances of ousting the ruling Democratic Progressive party in March's presidential election.
