Daag- The Spot is the story of Tanya Bajaj. Just like any other girl, she is doing great at her job, looking forward to a new addition in the family (her nephew/niece), and she is on top of the world, as finally she is engaged to her longtime love, Shantanu Shrivastava.
And then one day she comes to know about the real nature of her nagging skin infection; which is called Leprosy in medical world.
Her mother warns her to keep this fact to herself or else society would ostracize her.
But Tanya decides to go ahead and talk about it to Shantanu. What happens next forms the crux of the story?
