About 600.000 people in Thailand are thought to be living with Aids, but the country has won praise for its attempts to tackle the spread of the HIV virus.
Education and increasing access to anti-retroviral drugs are the mainstay of the Thai campaign, while initial optimism over a supposedly "breakthrough" HIV vaccine has waned.
