1. Choose Your Name. - The first step in the name change process is to select the name of your new company. You may want to use the Idaho LLC Search Tool to make sure your name has not yet been taken.
2 Fill in Certificate of Formation. - This is the official application to form an LLC in the State of Idaho. You must submit this form along with a filing fee of $100 made payable to the Secretary of State. Mail to:

3 Get an EIN Number. - If you have more than 1 member or you will be using a bank account with your company, you will need to Apply for a Tax ID Number.
