The Pakistani schoolgirl shot by the Taliban earlier this week is fighting for her life. Doctors made the decision to airlift her from this local hospital to a more advanced military hospital.
Malala Yousufzai is unconscious and in critical condition.

The young activist's campaign for girls education made her both a national hero and a target for extremists.
A Taliban spokesman has said that if Malala survives, they will come after her again.
