The rover's Rotary Percussive Drill will sink its bit into the John Klein Area which "shows signs of (geologic) activity in a diverse sense, with one or more transport mechanisms in play" according to MAHLI (Mars Hand Lens Imager) principal investigator R. Aileen Yingst.
