Dangerous and high stress job can cost your health. A recent study by UC Davis reports that work-related injuries account for $250 billion of the nation's annual healthcare cost. Occupational health outranks every other single cause for healthcare (including cancer, diabetes, and strokes) but it doesn't get the attention it deserves. If you have a high stress job or work in a dangerous field (logging, fishing, oil rigs), make sure to take extra precaution as the numbers are not in your favor.
