As 2013 is the "European Year of Citizens", directors of this video, 2 EVS volunteers based in Sicily, decided to make a short film about young people’s vision and attitude about European Citizenship. The idea is to try to understand what European citizenship is for the film’s participants, what it means for them and what they would like it to be. We involved participants from Europe and beyond believing that the idea of unity is not limited to the frameworks of the EU. For this reason we collected the ideas of European Citizenship from young people from England, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Spain, Mali, Senegal, Marocco, Afganistan and Armenia.
