Newcomer Kim Cesarion shows there's more to Sweden than pop

Think of Swedish music, and you probably wouldn't be expecting this.

Whilst newcomer Kim Cesarion is familiar with his country's musical legacy, his debut single "Undressed" is worlds apart from the sounds of ABBA's "Waterloo" and "Dancing Queen".

Instead the 22-year-old sought influence from the grand masters of funk.

"I grew up on artists like D'Angelo and Prince and later on listen to Lenny. I listen to so much different music. Everything almost -- my father taught me that when I was young that if you want to be a musician you can't discriminate any types or genres of music at all because you just need to feel everything, feed off anything. So that's what I did. That's probably -- why I'm doing it the way I'm doing it now."
