A forbidden love that can never be
He is a Christian, alas she is not
They would climb the mountains and cross the seas
To sneak to the masquerade was her plot
Tossing and turning, unable to rest
Waking to find her lovers not there
Feeling sharp pains in the core of her chest
Her heart tearing apart from all not fair
But all hearts prevail no matter how sore
Nothing can come between two souls on high
The hottest of flames can’t burn through their core
The sound of their love can pierce through the sky
Jessica and Lorenzo together
And together they will stay forever
