Dancing at the door I wait for her to pick me up
Wag my tail at the window until I see her pass
Wet nose print smeary trail across the evil pane of glass
Our love is a dog park and all the other dogs are gone
I'm trapped behind the gate, she forgot me here again
Jump the fence my collar catches on the chain link top
Straining my back tippy toes I choke between each hop
