Dr. Strange is a 1978 television film based on the Marvel Comics fictional character created by Steve Ditko. Dr. Strange stars Peter Hooten in the title role, along with Jessica Walter, Eddie Benton, Clyde Kusatsu, Philip Sterling and John Mills. The movie was intended as a pilot for a prposed television series, but was not picked up. Captain America appeared in two 1979 live-action television movies that aired on CBS: Captain America, which aired January 19, 1979, and Captain America II: Death Too Soon, which was broadcast on November 23, 1979, both starring Reb Brown in the title role.
