Sen. Imee Marcos urged to help brother first before pushing for probe in businessman's death
Manila Rep. Benny Abante says that Sen. Imee Marcos should help her brother first in the development of the Philippines before angling for an investigation into the death of a businessman. In a press conference on July 15, 2025, Abante also said that they would not hinder the Commission on Audit from conducting its review of the budget of the Office of the Vice President but talks of Congress' 'oversight role' in how the funds are spent.
