Jesus sends the disciples ahead. He goes up the mountain to pray. The wind rises. The boat is battered. In the fourth watch He comes, walking on the sea. “Take courage. It is I. Do not be afraid.” Peter steps out at the word. He walks, then wavers. He cries, “Lord, save me.” Jesus reaches out and holds him. The wind ceases when they enter the boat. Awe fills the disciples. They worship and confess, “Truly you are the Son of God.” At Gennesaret the sick touch the fringe of His cloak. Many are healed. Let this Gospel train the heart. Fix your eyes on Christ. Step toward Him in trials. Ask for steady faith and humble courage. Offer this time for your home and parish. May the Lord meet our storms with His presence and turn fear into worship.
