Petrus Castrus – Mestre 1973 (Portugal, Progressive Rock)
Petrus Castrus is a Portuguese progressive rock band formed in 1971 by brothers Pedro and José Castro. (The name is the Latin translation of Pedro Castro.) The band members were influenced by bands such as Pink Floyd, Procol Harum, The Nice, and Electric Light Orchestra. In 1974, the band went on hiatus. Rui Reis and João Seixas founded the band Plutonicos (later Ferro & Fogo). They sing in Portuguese.
