The band, which during the life of its leader, Paul Kossoff (ex-Free, Black Cat Bones), was called Back Street Crawler. After Paul's death, they shortened their name to Crawler and released two albums. The first album, self-titled, was released in 1977 on Epic Records and received good reviews.
