Pinguin — Der Grosse Rote Vogel 1972 (Germany, Krautrock, Progressive Rock)
After recording the album "Spuren," Talix changed their name to Penguin and released "Der Grosse Rote Vogel." This album was the first release on Polydor's progressive Zebra label. They presented a strong fusion of keyboard-based progressive rock with classical influences. In 1973, Zebra closed its doors, and Penguin followed suit. Typical German prog of the early 70s—a little jazz, a little psychedelic, a little hard.
