A devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Mindanao, Philippines, triggering tsunami warnings across the region. Authorities reported tsunami waves up to one meter, widespread building collapses, power outages, and major infrastructure damage. At least 19 people have been reported dead and more than 200 injured as rescue teams continue search-and-rescue operations. Emergency alerts were also issued in Indonesia and Malaysia.
