Super Typhoon Bavi lashes US island of Guam

Super Typhoon Bavi brings strong winds and lashing rain to the US territory of Guam, as the category 5 strom makes landfall on the nearby island of Rota in the Pacific. The National Weather Service has warned of "catastrophic damage and (a) life threatening situation."
