On July 10, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps delivered a stark warning regarding American military sites in the Middle East, asserting that bases in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain 'will not be safe from our heavy fire' if US military actions persist. This statement followed Jordan's announcement that it had intercepted eight out of ten Iranian ballistic missiles aimed at the Al-Azraq air base on July 9. The IRGC also targeted locations in Bahrain and Kuwait in response to previous US strikes in the Hormuz area. Currently, over 5,000 US troops are deployed in these three nations. Pentagon officials are assessing the security measures at all regional facilities as tensions with Iran escalate to their most critical level since the initial strikes in February.
