पाकिस्तान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान को लेकर सियासी और कानूनी घमासान एक बार फिर तेज हो गया है। अदियाला जेल में उनकी बिगड़ती सेहत और आंखों की रोशनी को लेकर उठे सवालों के बीच सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने उन्हें इस्लामाबाद के शिफा इंटरनेशनल अस्पताल में मेडिकल जांच के लिए भेजने का आदेश दिया है। कोर्ट ने मेडिकल बोर्ड में इमरान खान के निजी डॉक्टरों और उनकी बहन की मौजूदगी सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। साथ ही परिवार से नियमित मुलाकात की व्यवस्था भी तय की गई है। इमरान खान पर 180 से ज्यादा मामले दर्ज होने और लंबे समय से जेल में रहने के कारण उनकी हर कानूनी राहत पाकिस्तान की राजनीति में बड़ा संदेश मानी जाती है। अब सवाल उठ रहा है कि यह सिर्फ स्वास्थ्य जांच है या इमरान की राजनीतिक वापसी की शुरुआत? क्या मेडिकल राहत के बाद उनके समर्थक फिर सड़कों पर उतरेंगे और क्या शहबाज शरीफ सरकार पर दबाव बढ़ेगा?
Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan is once again at the center of a major political and legal storm. Amid growing concerns over his deteriorating health and vision while being held at Adiala Jail, the Supreme Court has ordered that he be shifted to Islamabad’s Shifa International Hospital for a medical examination. The court has also directed that Imran Khan’s personal doctors and his sister be included in the medical board. Regular meetings with his family have also been ordered. With more than 180 cases reportedly registered against Imran Khan and his prolonged imprisonment, every legal relief granted to him carries major political significance in Pakistan.
