This handmade concrete planter is cast using real alocasia leaves as a natural release mold, pressing vein detail directly into the cement surface. A rubber bucket serves as the outer form and a smaller bucket creates the hollow centre. After curing overnight, the molds are removed to reveal raised leaf-vein relief panels around the entire exterior. A drill adds a drainage hole, then white chalk paint and hand-painted sage green leaf detail complete the finish. The result is a designer-looking concrete garden planter made for under $15 in materials. Watch to the end for the full reveal.
