This is a Safe Sparring demo with Shen and Claw. I like the way this demo went, it was controlled and it wasn’t too serious, it wasn’t competitive, they are simply trying to hit and not get hit themselves. Claw for the first time was experimenting with high kicks, which was good but at the end he ends up getting kicked in the groin area because of it, which should be a learning lesson for him. Groin attacks are allowed, as long as you have some control. When you get hit there, it is not your sparring partners fault, actually it’s your own fault for not guarding that area. There are very few rules in Safe Sparring, you can pretty much do what you want, as long as it is all done with control. This is a beginners demo of Safe Sparring with light contact, they are starting to get the hang of it.
