According to Ukraine's General Staff, Russia experienced a loss of around 1,310 soldiers in just one day, bringing its cumulative reported losses since February 2022 to almost 1.38 million personnel. The latest report also highlighted losses in tanks, artillery systems, and more than 2,100 drones. While Russia does not officially release its casualty figures, independent Russian media have estimated that the death toll is in the hundreds of thousands. This ongoing toll emerges as US officials, including representatives of Trump, persist in advocating for a negotiated resolution to the conflict, despite the continued fighting and daily casualties showing no signs of abating.
