The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 11:30 a.m. press briefing on Wednesday, Aug. 19, that while Tropical Depression 'Neneng' will not have a direct effect on the country, the southwest monsoon (habagat) will continue to bring heavy rains across parts of Luzon until Thursday.
